Es una invenci&oacute;n (realizada por Sidney Darlington, de los Laboratorios Bell) tan sencilla como efectiva, ya que conseguimos con dos transitores un nivel de ganancia que de otro modo necesitar&iacute;amos varias etapas sucesivas amplificadoras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Est&aacute; compuesto por dos transistores bipolares comunes que se conectan es cascada, como se muestra en el siguiente gr&aacute;fico. El &eacute;xito del montaje o configuraci&oacute;n Darlinton es tal que se fabrican muchos &quot;transistores Darlinton&quot; aunque realmente ya no es un s&oacute;lo transistor -evidentemente- con esta configuraci&oacute;n interna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cifpn1.com\/electronica\/wp-content\/uploads\/file\/Darlington.png\" style=\"width: 130px; height: 130px;\" \/><br \/>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><em>transistores bipolares NPN en configuraci&oacute;n Darlington<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Siendo la&nbsp;<em><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">&beta;&nbsp;<\/span><\/em>del transistor T1,&nbsp;<span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><em>&beta;<\/em><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">1<\/span><\/span>, y la&nbsp;<em><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">&beta;<\/span><\/em>&nbsp;del transistor T2,&nbsp;<span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><em>&beta;<\/em><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">2<\/span><\/span>, se puede llegar a demostrar f&aacute;cilmente que la&nbsp;<em><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">&beta;<span style=\"font-size:12px;\">T<\/span><\/span><\/em>&nbsp;de la configuraci&oacute;n conjunta T1-T2 es aproximadamente:&nbsp;<span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><em>&beta;<\/em><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">1<\/span> <\/span>x <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><em>&beta;<\/em><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">2.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span>Con una ganancia en corriente que puede f&aacute;cilmente llegar a 8.000, un &quot;transistor Darlington&quot; es el dispositivo id&oacute;neo para controlar cargas grandes de corriente con corrientes muy peque&ntilde;as.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cifpn1.com\/electronica\/wp-content\/uploads\/file\/ecuacion par darlington(1).png\" style=\"width: 590px; height: 255px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Pero no todo es tan sencillo, el montaje Darlinton tiene algunas &quot;pegas&quot;:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">La tensi&oacute;n de polarizaci&oacute;n, para que conduzca y amplifique, ha de ser mayor que 2 veces la V<span style=\"font-size:10px;\">BE<\/span> convencional, ya que ha las uniones B-E de los dos transistores est&aacute;n en serie.<br \/>\n\t\t&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">La tensi&oacute;n C-E del Darlinton no llega a ser tan baja en saturaci&oacute;n como la de un simple transistor bipolar, ya que la tensi&oacute;n de la uni&oacute;n B-C del primer transistor juega en su contra; el Darlington se &quot;queda&quot; con una VCE entre 0&#39;7 y 2 volt.<br \/>\n\t\t&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al tener que activar las dos uniones B-E, el transistor Darlington es m&aacute;s lento que uno normal, y tambi&eacute;n es m&aacute;s lento en dejar de conducir.
